California Business & Professional Code:

The California Business & Professional Code will provide you with information on licensing qualifications required for each of the clinical licenses offered within California.

California Licensing Boards:

• Board of Behavioral Sciences -- licenses Marriage, Family & Child Counselors (MFCC) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW).

• California Medical Board -- licenses Medical Doctors and certifies them in the speciality of Psychiatry.
